Frequently Asked Questions

When will the film be ready?

We're currently very busy in the edit, aiming to get the film ready for release in early 2015. Editing a film takes time, and once completed we also have various post-production costs to cover - getting the sound mixed so it will sound good in theatres and on TV/computers, paying for licensing for archive footage used in the film, paying for music licensing etc. We are continuing to fund raise so we can meet these costs and ensure the film can be released as soon as we have it ready.

Can my organisation screen the film when it is ready?

Of course! We'd love you to screen the film. We will have a range of licensing options, or you can pre-buy your licence as part of our crowdfunding campaign (all contributions made now go towards helping us finish the film and meet our target release date). If you are interested in organising a screening email us with "Screening" in the subject line, and details of how we can contact you. We'll then get in touch when the film is ready.

Have you a screener available now?

We are in the edit and the film is not yet completed. If you would like a screener of the film (for festival programming etc.) drop us a line with "Festival screener" in the subject line and we will send you one when it is ready. We anticipate that we will have a rough cut by the end of 2014.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will the film be ready?

We are pleased to announce that the World Premiere of The Divide will take place at Picturehouse Central (Shaftesbury Avenue) on April 11th 2016. The film will then go on to open in UK cinemas from 22nd April 2016. This will include a week run at Central, with more screenings up and down the country. We are very keen for community and local groups to organise their own screenings, so if this sounds like something you'd like to do then have a look here for more information.

We are currently working towards a global release. Check back for updates!

When will I receive my download, premiere or local screening invite?

If you supported our crowdfund for a digital download, we are currently negotiating the digital rights and hope we will have news soon on when we are able to release. You will be sent a password-protected download as soon as the film is available for you to watch.

Supporters for local premieres will be notified when the film comes to their region. If you'd like to organise your own screening, simply drop us an email through the "Screening" page

I'm not in the UK. Can I see the film?

Due to festival rules and distribution arrangements, we are not currently able to make the film available outside of the UK. Please join our mailing list and we'll keep you posted when we have more news of when the film is coming to your region.

Can my organisation screen the film?

Of course! We'd love you to screen the film. We have a range of licencing options to suit a range of organisations. If you are interested on putting on your own screening, please have a look here for more information on how to get started.
