Frequently Asked Questions

When will the film be ready?

We recently launched the film at Sheffield Doc/Fest (June 2015), followed by preview screenings at other leading UK festivals including Open City and the East End Film Festival. Our plan after this is to release the film in UK cinemas in the autumn of 2015, but this is contingent on us being able to meet the costs of release. Paying for the post-production, archive & music clearance for cinema and broadcast is a big hurdle, but we are working round the clock to raise the funds to enable us to bring you the film as soon as we can. There are additional costs for world distribution, and our aim is to roll out to other countries early 2016.

When will I receive my download, premiere or local screening invite?

If you supported our crowdfund and are based in the UK, you will receive your download as soon as the film goes on UK general release. Due to US festival rules, downloads for other countries will be available in early 2016. We will send you a password-protected download as soon as the film is available for you to watch.

Our world premiere will be in the autumn of 2015 - backers will receive invites with full details in good time. Supporters for local premieres will be notified when the film comes to their region. If you'd like to organise your own screening, simply drop us an email through the "Screening" page

Can my organisation screen the film when it is ready?

Of course! We'd love you to screen the film. We will have a range of licensing options for communities, schools, universities and commercial screenings. If you are interested in organising a screening email us with "Screening" in the subject line, and details of how we can contact you. We'll then get in touch when the film is ready.

Have you a screener available now?

Yes! Drop us a line with "Festival screener" in the subject line and details of your festival.
